Pierce County Superior Court is pleased to announce that Court Commissioner Sabrina Ahrens has accepted an offer from Governor Inslee to fill the soon-to-be vacant position left by Judge Susan Serko, who is retiring on August 31st. Commissioner Ahrens has been with Superior Court since April of 2017. She has served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Pierce County and has also served as a Pro Tem Judge in Olympia and Lakewood Municipal Courts. In addition to her legal work, she is very involved in Community organizations, including the March of Dimes, which she served as Vice Chair of the South Sound Board of Directors. She has also served as an officer of the Pierce County Minority Bar Association. Her swearing in ceremonies will be set at a later date.
Please join us in welcoming Commissioner Ahrens to her new role as Judge within the Pierce County Superior Court family. Her first day on the bench will be in early September.

Pierce County Superior Court is the second largest Superior Court in the State of Washington and is proud to serve the citizens and visitors of Pierce County.
