Auditor seeks to appoint “against” committee members for voters’ pamphlet

The Pierce County Auditor’s Office is opening a special appointment period to recruit individuals to write “against” statements for the August 4, 2015, primary election local voters’ pamphlet in the following districts:

“Against” committee members needed

  • Fire Protection District No. 3 (West Pierce Fire & Rescue) – Property tax levy for maintenance and operations
  • Fire Protection District No. 10 (Fife) – Property tax levy for emergency medical services
  • Fire Protection District No. 16 (Key Peninsula Fire Department) – Lid lift maintaining property tax levy rate
