Nature Walk & Create

Take a weekly ‘nature walk’ through Frontier Park or South Hill Park and the Nathan Chapman Trail, collecting items and create an incredible work of art! Stop by and check in at the supply area to collect your materials list and then enjoy a walk through the park, collecting your items along the way. Next, come back to the supply booth and receive your art supplies and instructions. Find a wonderful place in the park to sit, relax, and work on your creation. Bring a picnic!

Examples of projects include leaf painting, nature prints and portraits, stick art and painted pine cones.

  • For ages 3 years and older (families welcome)
  • Cloth masks will be required at the supply table and line
  • Participants encouraged to find a special place for their family appropriately distanced from others
  • Cost: $5 per activity kit
