Education doesn't end with the school year. Summer is a great time to learn and explore. Our educators coordinate with local park districts to offer experiences that connect kids to our local environment.

Eco Camp Counselors in Training Week
Learn how to lead and develop skills to help you become a future environmental educator at our Eco Camp Counselors In Training (CIT) program. CITs will learn activities, games, strategies for working with younger campers and how to use the natural environment for learning. CITs can volunteer at upcoming Eco Camps and earn community service hours. Ages 14–18

Eco Explorers
Campers will explore Spanaway Park and visit off-site locations as each day’s theme leads to new outdoor adventures. Discover forests, freshwater habitats and other ecosystems using science, sensory activities and play. Campers will also canoe, hike and play lots of outdoor games! Ages 9–12
