Regular Hire Employees must attend each of these courses once 


Supervisors, Managers and Directors must attend each of these courses once, in addition to all required Regular Hire Employee training

Diversity Training 


  • Pierce County is committed to providing employees with annual Diversity Training in alignment with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Initiative. This training must be completed by end of the calendar year, effective July 1, 2019. 
  • Required annual Diversity Training will be updated and identified by the DEI work group each year. The current year's course is Unconscious Bias

New Employee Required classes


Bronze Level Leadership Certification 
To be eligible, each of these courses must be completed, in addition to all required Regular Hire Employee Training. Learn about the Leadership Certification Program here.
