Youth BasketballThis is strictly a recreation program. There are no tryouts - everyone plays regardless of ability. There are no league championships, and no win-loss records kept. This is not a program for highly skilled players that have previously played together.

Girls Fastpitch LeagueCompetitive and recreational fastpitch leagues for girls will be offered for players ages 10-19. USSSA rules with Park Department modifications will be used. Participating teams in the past have come from Gig Harbor, Puyallup, South Hill, Edgewood, University Place, Lakewood, Summit, Graham, Parkland, Spanaway and Roy.

Youth Indoor SoccerBoys and girls ages 4-7 This program is offered twice a year during the months of February-April and September-November. This is strictly a recreation program to provide each participant a chance to develop a positive self-image, self-confidence, sportsmanship and physical skills through participating in soccer. There are no tryouts - everyone plays regardless of ability. Practices/Games are at the Lakewood Community Center.
Registration is limited to the first 240 children who sign up on a first come-first serve basis. Registration after the evening dates will be conducted on a space available basis.

Youth Fall Outdoor SoccerBoys and girls ages 5-8 This is strictly a recreation program to provide each participant a chance to develop a positive self-image, self-confidence, sportsmanship and physical skills through participating in soccer. there are no tryouts - everyone plays regardless of ability.
Registration will be limited to the first 180 children who sign up on a first come-first serve basis. Practices are one night during the week beginning in September. Registration after the evening dates will be conducted on a space available basis. Kidz Love Soccer, Inc. ProgramThis instructional program will introduce you and your child to the world's most popular game! Learn the skills and techniques to participate with other players in games, at school and on teams. Participants should bring their own knee guards. Taught by Kidz Love Soccer staff.

First time students can learn the basics of skateboarding to safely navigate through Sprinker Recreation Center's expansive skate park. Intermediate instruction will show students how to safely maneuver through the obstacles of the skate park. Helmets are required on ALL participants.

About the instructor: Seth Ivers has been riding and learning about skateboarding for 15 years. He has numerous teaching experiences as well as knowledge about equipment and competitions. |

There are no try-outs; everyone plays regardless of ability. This is strictly a recreational program. There are no league championships, and no win/loss records will be kept. Boys and girls will play on the same team. Practices and games will be at Spanaway Park ball fields. Registration will be limited to the first 240 children who sign-up on a first-come, first-served basis.

Coach PitchThis league is also designed to provide each participant with an enjoyable, safe, and positive experience while learning respect, and sportsmanship. This program will continue to teach the basics of baseball/softball. There are no try-outs; everyone plays regardless of ability. This is strictly a recreational program. There are no league championships, and no win/loss records will be kept. Boys and girls will play on the same team. Registration will be limited to the first 225 children who sign-up on a first-come, first-served basis. Practices and games will be at either Sprinker Recreation Center or Gonyea Playfield.
