'Color the Mascots' Contest
Attention children ages 3-12yrs: Color a picture of Balde and Icey and receive a pass for a free admission to any public skate session. We will display your art in the ice arena for your friends and family to admire ;-)

Ice Skating and Snowman Building Contest
Get your team and props together now for our on-ice snowman building contest. Each entered team will have limited snow and 45 minutes to complete their snowman. Each team will be responsible to return all props supplied by Sprinker and will need to collect any personal belongings after the event. There will be no ice skating during the contest. Each team member must have paid for the Cheapskate Session prior (see below) or paid $5.00 to participate and will be given a coupon for FREE admission for another ice skating session! Winners will be awarded at the end of the session.

'Celebrate Community' Discover Your Olympic Dream
This event is co-presented by the Pierce County Parks and Recreation Department and the Lakewood Winter Club. Sprinker has fitness opportunities for the residents of Pierce County and will showcase many of them during this exciting afternoon of activities for the whole family. Be dressed and ready to be active throughout the entire afternoon but bring a coat as the ice rink tends to be a little cool this time of year.

Cost to participate is $5.00 per person which includes a commemorative Healthy Hearts at play wristband. Make a commitment for 2010 to have an active lifestyle and start it here at Sprinker Recreation Center where we 'Celebrate Community'.
