Pierce County Planning and Land Services provide this site to inform you of the Mid-County Community Plan. The boundaries of the plan area are shown in the figure below.
Mid-County Community Plan Adopted
The Mid-County Community Plan and implementing regulations were adopted by Pierce County on December 6, 2005 with an effective date of March 1, 2006 (Ordinance Nos. 2005-93s and 2005-94s2). The community plan provides residents, property owners, business people, and Pierce County government with a detailed sense of how the communities of Summit-Waller, North Clover Creek Collins and Summit View want to develop in the future and includes regulations and standards to create and maintain the look and feel envisioned.
The Mid-County Community Plan and implementing regulations (Title 18A.27-Zoning, Title 18B.160-Signs, Title 18J.70-Designs Standards and Guidelines) are available for viewing online in .pdf format. In order to view the .pdf files you must have Adobe Acrobat ® Reader installed on your computer. You can now download the Adobe Acrobat ® Reader software at no cost from this website.

The development regulations associated with this community plan can be accessed via Regulations.
