On June 11, 2002, the Pierce County Council voted to approve the Parkland-Spanaway-Midland Communities Plan. Accompanying the Plan are implementing regulations that set forth new zoning and site design standards for developments proposed within the community plan area.

Implementing regulations become effective on September 3, 2002. PALS staff has developed the necessary submittal standards and informational handouts for processing applications under the new community plan standards.
