Welcome to the Key Peninsula Community Plan web site!
Members of the Key Peninsula Community Planning Board (CPB) and Pierce County Planning and Land Services staff provide this site to keep you apprised of the Key Peninsula Community Plan progress. The boundaries of the plan area are shown in the figure below. Meeting locations, dates, and times will be established in the Fall of 2004. Citizens, business leaders, and landowners are all invited and encouraged to participate in the Key Peninsula Community Planning process. Please come and get involved in the future of the Key Peninsula community!

If you want information on the development of the plan, see Work Program, Progress to Date and Agenda where you will find the proposed planning schedule, latest work products, discussions of the CPB and CPB meeting summaries and the upcoming meeting agenda. To comment on land use issues in the Key Peninsula area, please attend a board meeting or Submit Comments to Pierce County Planning and Land Services staff. All comments will be forwarded to members of the Key Peninsula Community Planning Board. Historic District Design Manual
Suggested guidelines are available that were developed on the basis of research conducted for the Home, Washington Historic District Survey and Inventory. These guidelines should serve as a basic resource of design recommendations for anyone who is constructing or remodeling residential and commercial structures.
