The first Pierce County Livable Communities Fair held on February 9, 2002 at the Tacoma Narrows Airport was an outstanding example of public and private agencies cooperating to improve our quality of life. More than 5,000 adults and children attended and participants acclaimed the event an overwhelming success. The fair showcased practical ways in which people could improve their homes, neighborhood and communities. Below is the list of participants along with photos from the event.
