The regular meeting of the Pierce County Thun Field Advisory Commission will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at Fire Station 6-9, 17210 -110th Avenue East, Puyallup, WA 98375.

The Pierce County Council created the Thun Field Advisory Commission (TFAC) to provide the community and tenants an opportunity to interact and make recommendations for the future of the airport.

County Executive Pat McCarthy is seeking applicants for positions on the Thun Field Advisory Commission.
Commission membership is for:
3 South Hill Residents and requires status as a current South Hill resident.
1 Airport Business Representative and requires status as an airport tenant.
The Commission meets quarterly to review issues related to both the Airport property and to properties within 1,000 feet of the Airport property. Positions are unpaid. Applications.

Committee Membership Requirements
The ordinance creating the TFAC requires that the members be made up of 5 airport tenants or pilots, 5 community members, and members of the South Hill Advisory Committee. Members are appointed by the County Executive, with approval by the County Council.

Applications can be turned in at anytime to:

Review of applications will occur when a position becomes available.

Thun Field Advisory Commission Meeting (TFAC)
