Pierce County Parks is pleased to offer opportunities for disc golfers. Pierce County residents can choose from two sites with a variety of courses.


FS discgolf course Fort Steilacoom Disc Golf Course is a beautiful course in natural, pasture-like 40 acre setting and is located within our Fort Steilacoom Golf Course. Disc golfers will be thrilled at the quiet wooded site which is located along the access road for the golf course.

The course features:

  • Multiple alt. tees and pin placements, including short course for ams.
  • Course length: 6252, Average Length:347.33, Alternate Course Length: 4350.
  • Holes 18 match 2/3.
  • Tee types are cement.

Directions to Fort Steilacoom Disc Golf Course:

8714 - 87th Ave. SW
Lakewood

  • From I-5 northbound take exit 125. Turn left onto Bridgeport Way and go north crossing 100th street SW and Gravelly Lake Drive. Turn left on Steilacoom Blvd. go about 1.5 miles and turn right onto 87th Avenue. Go about 1/3 mile and turn left at golf course sign. Parking lot is approximately 1/4 mile.

  • From I-5 southbound, take exit 129 and to west on 74th Street which becomes Custer Drive in 2.3 miles. go another 1.2 miles and turn right on Steilacoom Blvd. Turn right onto 87th Avenue. Go about 1/3 mile and turn left at golf course sign. Parking lot is approximately 1/4 mile.


Located along the Puyallup River, the setting is as remarkable as is the course with picturesque wooded areas. Plan to bring a picnic and stay the day!

The course features:

  • Six additional targets and four alternate courses.
  • Course Length: 5450, Average Length:302.78, Alternate Course Length: 0.
  • Holes - 20 baskets.
  • Tee type is natural.

Directions to Riverside Park Disc Golf Course
Riverside Rd. & 78th St. Court in Sumner:

  • Exit on Valley Ave. from Hwy 410 (Orting turnoff)
  • Take the first left on Riverside Drive
  • 1.5 miles to entrance on right (look for sign for River Valley BMX).
