SHB 2060 AFFORDABLE HOUSING FUNDING

Funding applications for Fall 2009 SHB 2060 funding will be available September 8, 2009, and due by 4pm Friday, October 30, 2009.


Eligible Activities for SHB 2060 funds:

  • Acquisition, rehabilitation, and/or new construction of housing; and
  • Operation and maintenance costs of housing; and
  • Rental Assistance vouchers for housing projects or units within housing projects.

All assistance through this program is targeted to assist very low income households with household incomes at or below fifty percent of median for the Tacoma/Pierce County Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) with a priority placed on extremely low income households with household incomes at or below thirty percent of median income.

Please note that there are separate applications for each of the three eligible activities. Please use the appropriate application for the activity for which you are applying.

All applications are in MS Word or Excel format.

United Way of Pierce County/Pierce County Trust Fund Demonstration Project:

Capital Funding for affordable housing development is available through a partnership between Pierce County and the United Way of Pierce County. Funding for this fund must be applied for through the regular 2060 application process. Instructions for applying for these funds are below.
