The Peninsula Detachment provides law enforcement services for the residents of the Gig Harbor Peninsula from the Narrows Bridge to the Kitsap County line, including the Key Peninsula. To view the area patrolled by detachment deputies, download the PDF version of the Peninsula Detachment map.

The detachment staff includes:
- 1 Lieutenant
- 2 Sergeants, one assigned to day shift and one to night shift
- 18 Deputies
- 1 Investigator
- 1 Traffic Deputy
- 1 Neighborhood Patrol Deputy
- 1 Community Service Officer
- 1 Office Assistant who provides office support and staffs the office

As we only have one staff person to maintain the detachment office and the deputies are normally in the field on patrol, the office may be closed due to training, vacation or illness without notice. If you plan on stopping by you may want to call first to ensure someone is at the office to assist you.

Any emergency calls should be directed to 9-1-1. For a non-emergency, to report a crime which has already occurred, or to speak with an on-duty deputy, please call (253) 798-4721 and choose option #1 when the recording begins.
