- Enter through the door with the sign 'Human Resources Training Center'.

- Limited parking is available to Pierce County employees in the intergovernmental (IG) parking lot, the paved surface lot (see map) located on Court E (the alley below Tacoma AVE)
- Spaces 1-19 are designated as IG spaces, identifiable by blue stripes and numbers.
- Parking is by permit only in this lot and permits are issued by Pierce County departments.

From I-5 take the I-705 exit; travel a short distance on I-705. Take the A Street/City Center exit; travel a few blocks on A Street to 9th Street South. Turn left on 9th; go up the hill on 9th to Tacoma Avenue South; the Hess building is on the left corner at the light at 9th Street and Tacoma Avenue.
