Please note the following office cut-off times for recording:
  • 3:30 p.m. for excise work submitted by title companies
  • 4:00 p.m. for non-excise work submitted by title companies
  • 4:30 p.m. document recordings by the general public
Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, and other vital statistics are obtained through the Tacoma - Pierce County Health Department.
